A R T E K O was founded by British Artist Blake Weston in 2020. The inspiration for his work is drawn mainly from Nature, mid century Architecture, furniture design and Abstract Expressionism.

He studied Painting and Time Based Art at Cardiff University before locating to Finland in 2002.

Blake Weston’s carefully considered works embrace a naturally occurring free and explorative creative process.

Acoustic Contemporary Art

We design ecological and organic Contemporary Art with sound absorbing qualities, mainly produced from peat moss in Finland.

The Art works are designed to dissipate sound energy, rather than reflecting it back into the space. This helps to create a more controlled, balanced and comfortable acoustic environment.

Commissions and unique works

Unique works are always made in a tailor-made manner according to the customer’s wishes. Planning usually starts with discussions, working from mood boards or visiting the site. It is also possible to acquire works directly from gallery.
